The Christian Church of Burlington
seeks to make mature followers of Jesus.

Our church is part of a Christian movement that wants to have a church built only on Christ as revealed in the Bible.

We attempt to exalt Christ above denominationalism and His Word above human creeds. With our name, we strive to honor Christ and not identify with a denomination.

We contend that terms of salvation and membership are identical with God's plan of salvation as stated in the Bible.  Leading sinners to Christ in the manner described in the New Testament is our only accepted practice. We want to nurture Christians in faith and maturity in Christ.  Thus, we strive to meet the spiritual and physical needs of those seeking to follow Jesus.

On nonessentials we allow liberty, on essentials we appeal to the New Testament. Where the Bible speaks, we speak; where the Bible is silent, we are silent.
